About the Role
As part of our growing team, we seek a Social Media Manager (SMM) to oversee engagement across all platforms and ensure our online presence reflects the depth, integrity, and transformative impact of 4DU.
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing external social media engagement and moderating the 4DU internal network. You will work closely with Aaron and the Director of Growth to increase audience engagement, grow brand awareness, and foster an active, positive community internally and across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and X.
Core Responsibilities
External Social Media Management
- Create content and actively engage across Aaron Abke’s Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and X coming soon
- Launch and manage 4DU branded channels across platforms
- Monitor brand mentions, comments, DMs, and ManyChat messages, responding promptly and professionally
- Encourage meaningful discussions aligned with 4DU’s values and mission
- Build relationships with influencers and thought leaders in the metaphysical and spiritual education space
- Stay ahead of social media trends and optimize engagement strategies for maximum impact
Content Planning & Scheduling
- Maintain content calendar and a consistent posting schedule (minimum 2 posts per day)
- Ensure all content is aligned with brands, messaging, and engagement strategies
- Analyze content performance and adjust strategies in real-time for maximum engagement
Performance Analytics & Reporting
- Provide weekly and monthly reports on audience growth, content performance, and engagement insights
- Offer data-driven recommendations to improve social media reach and interaction
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with the Director of Growth on launches, promotions, and campaigns
- Coordinate and collaborate with the Video Editor on campaigns and projects
- Engage in internal team discussions via Slack (#social-media and #marketing channels)
- Contribute to refining moderation policies and engagement best practices
Who You Are
- A social media expert with 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, or community management
- Passionate about spiritual growth, metaphysical studies, and personal development
- A strong communicator with exceptional writing and engagement skills
- Analytical, with experience using social media analytics tools to track and improve engagement
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple platforms effectively
- Experienced in influencer engagement and trend-driven social strategies
